Privacy Policy
Version of 9 October 2026, applies today
Scope and controller
This notice applies to crickhampions.com, an independent editorial guide to hotels. Its editorial team controls the small amount of personal data described here and answers questions at hello@crickhampions.com.
Reading without identifying yourself
The site has no accounts, no mailing list and no members area. Every page opens without any personal details, and we have chosen not to install analytics or audience-measurement tools.
Messages you send
When you write to us, whether directly or through the form that opens a draft in your email program, we receive the contents of that email, usually your name, your address and your words. We use them for a single purpose: understanding your message and replying.
Technical data held by our host
The web host can keep automatic records of routine connection details, such as IP address, browser version, requested page and timestamp. These logs exist for security and reliability, vanish after a short period and never serve to single out an individual.
Your browser's share
We save one small value in your browser to remember how you answered the storage panel. The Cookie Policy explains it in full.
What we refuse to do
- No advertising tags, social widgets or analytics scripts are loaded on any page.
- No reader profiles are built, and no automated decisions are made about you.
- No personal information is sold, rented or traded to anyone.
Outside services
Our typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, which means your browser reveals its IP address to Google while loading them. Once you follow a link to a hotel's website, that hotel's own privacy notice governs what happens next.
Lawful basis and how long we keep things
Our legal footing is a legitimate interest: answering whoever writes in. Emails are kept for as long as an exchange is ongoing and deleted within twelve months of the last message.
Your choices and rights
The privacy law covering you may grant rights to obtain a copy of your data, to fix mistakes in it, to have it wiped, to pause or challenge particular uses, and to raise a complaint with the regulator where you live. Email us with any such request and we will respond within the period your law sets.
Minors
Hampions Hotels is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from younger people and will delete any message from a minor as soon as we become aware of it.
Changes to this notice
If our handling of data changes, we will rewrite this page and move the date at the top forward.
